Sweetwater delivered Tommy’s great grandfather, Thomas Benton Reed, only six months after the completion of this tragic journey. Sweat Lodge, Vision Quest, Pipe Ceremony, and Sun Dance are not just ceremonies studied from books, but are important events that are experienced by Tommy as a regular part of his personal spiritual journey. He has studied with many respected Native American teachers.
